Summertime and the livin' is easy... Woo Hoo! Just home from Florida. The beach tour was rockin... we love 30A.
July 4th was magical on the white sand beaches and our shows were packed with new faces as well as the regular locals we've grown to call friends. Glad to be home with a tan and a smile on our faces. Thanks again for all who came to the shows! And a big thanks to Emily who "loaned" us (a band she has never met before) her house for a week. You're awesome. Nice digs.
Happy Summer,
K & S

Glad to be back home after an amazing 3 week tour in California! It was such a beautiful experience and we had more success than we could have ever imagined (yes, news to follow!). There truly is nothing better than hitting the road with your loved one, being able to do what you love (in this case music) and going with the flow of events... such a gypsy lifestyle that opens the heart to new experiences and brilliant encounters with kindred spirits. Thanks to Drew and Niki Sherrod for the wonderful accomodations while in LA, and to our amazing new friend, Gayle Day, for your help with booking, studio and etc. You're lovely.
Also, our tour in the Northern part of the state was all the more an adventure by squeezing in a van with 2 other bands (Harlowe and the Great North Woods and Pat Hull) and traveling around the gorgeous country side making new fans. Do yourself a favor and check these bands out if you ever get a chance. Seriously talented writers and performers... and a pleasure to journey with. I still can't believe we fit everything in that van.
Here's to life. And deluxe size vans. Cheers,
Kim & Scott

Gearing up for our 3 week tour to Cali this weekend. Just put the finishing touches on our new cd, "2 Guns", this week. Feels good! Please check out our new unreleased single on the music page called "Golden State" (Kinda apropos for the tour, eh?).
Just finished the album with Chad Brown behind the board turnin' knobs over at The Toy Box studios here in our very own East Nashville. And of course the musical talents of Chris Autry on bass, Marshall Richardson on drums, Peter Hyrka on the violin, and Micha on the baby grand (more East Nashvillians... there's a trend here:). Oh, and props to Andy Wilson who gave it a fine mastering job at the famous Masterdisk in New York! Ok, so there are the kudos... So many more to give. We have a mess of talented people in our lives.
And all you West Coasters... come say hey at one of our upcoming shows if you are in the area. Please check out the Tour page for an updated schedule and pass the word along!
Cheers,
Kim & Scott

We kicked off the new year with a trip to the 30A Songwriter's Festival, in the unique area of Florida's panhandle known as, well, 30A! For us, this area has become a second home. The people are so friendly, artisic and support original music... truly a gem of Florida. Thank you 30A for another successful tour! Can't wait to return in the Spring. A big shout out to Russell, Jennifer, & Joy who helped to create a great festival that was a joy to be a part of again this year.
xo,
Kim & Scott
